STOP INCONTINENCE WITH EMSELLA | THE NON-INVASIVE TREATMENT FOR STRESS AND URGE INCONTINENCE

EMsella is a nonsurgical treatment for people who suffer from urinary incontinence. The two types of urinary incontinence are urge incontinence, which is the sudden need to urinate before involuntarily doing so, and stress incontinence, which is urinary leakage. Some individuals can suffer from one or both types of urinary incontinence. 1/3 of women in America experience problems with urinary retention and seek medical help for their conditions. EMsella offers those suffering from UI a nonsurgical solution. One EMsella treatment lasts for 30 minutes and is entirely non-invasive, performed while the patient is fully clothed and comfortable in an ergonomic chair.

The ergonomic chair used for EMsella treatments is known as the “Kegel throne” because it delivers 11,000 Kegels’ equivalent during a single treatment. It does this through the electromagnetic technology in the chair and stimulates the muscles of the pelvic floor. The stimulation from EMsella treatments helps to strengthen the muscles responsible for urinary retention. ¹ This treatment is entirely painless and comfortable for each patient.

HOW DOES EMSELLA WORK?

EMsella is the first non-invasive treatment to achieve FDA clearance to treat urinary incontinence and vaginal laxity. This treatment involves using an ergonomic chair equipped with High-Intensity Focused Electromagnetic technology (HIFEM). During treatments, you remain entirely clothed and sit on the chair for the treatment time duration. One treatment induces more than 11,000 supramaximal pelvic floor muscle contractions which are the equivalent of 11,000 Kegels. The pelvic floor muscles gain strength from the muscle contractions, vaginal walls become tighter, and the tissues that support pelvic organs rebuild, in a sense. Treatments help reduce both types of urinary incontinence.

EMSELLA RESULTS*

EMsella patients show a significant improvement in bladder control after a single EMsella treatment. ¹ Average treatment plans involve a total of 6 treatments, two sessions held weekly for 3 weeks. The research behind EMsella shows that 95% of patients who follow the average protocol report an improvement in their quality of life after just 3 weeks of treatments. Other two-thirds of patients show a total elimination or reduction in their need for pad usage to deter leakage. ¹ As with any medical treatment, results may vary.*
