Vaginoplasty before and after pics demonstrate the amazing restoration that is possible when a skilled and experienced surgeon performs a vaginoplasty or non-surgical vaginal rejuvenation with laser or RF devices. As with any cosmetic procedure, individual experiences may vary. However, these vaginoplasty before and after images depict real patients of Dr. Mark Lowney and demonstrate real results from their vaginal rejuvenation surgery.*

Vaginal Rejuvenation from Advanced Body Sculpting of New England offers patients several treatment options to find the procedure that is best suited for their situation and desires. Treatments include:

  • Traditional vaginoplasty (surgical vaginal rejuvenation)
  • Non-Surgical Vaginal Rejuvenation (using ThermiVa and Viveve)
  • HGF (Human Growth Factors) rejuvenation therapy (the O-Shot)

Vaginoplasty or surgical vaginal rejuvenation is a surgical procedure used to tighten and reinforce the muscles and tissues of the vagina and perineum (the skin between the vagina and anus.) This strengthens the pelvic floor and results in a narrower, tighter vaginal diameter. During the procedure, Dr. Lowney removes a triangular wedge of posterior vaginal tissue as well as a triangular piece of perineal tissue. This technique is used to maximally tighten the vagina and build up the perineum. Surgery usually takes about 1 hour to perform and is typically performed under local anesthesia and IV conscious sedation. It is an outpatient procedure and does not require and overnight stay. Some patients are sent home with a vaginal packing and Foley catheter, which are removed the following day.

During your non-surgical vaginoplasty, Dr. Lowney uses ThermiVa or Viveve, two revolutionary devices that use RF technology to deliver thermal energy to the vaginal tissue. Nicknamed the “virgin vagina laser,” these devices are scientifically proven¹ to safely heat the stretched out tissue, causing it to contract (shrink.) Simultaneously, the RF energy stimulates a natural rejuvenation process. This triggers the production of new collagen and elastin, which helps remodel the vaginal canal to restore its optimal structure and strengthens and tones vaginal muscles.²

By utilizing advanced laser and RF technology, non-surgical vaginal rejuvenation requires no incisions or sutures, can be performed in under an hour, and requires minimal downtime. Most importantly, results are dramatic, natural, and long lasting, delivering a tighter, smaller, more youthful vagina.

Non-surgical vaginal rejuvenation is ideal for patients who are not good candidates for a vaginoplasty or for women who want to tighten and tone their vaginal muscles without surgery or downtime.

A labiaplasty and a vaginoplasty are both surgeries that are performed in the vaginal area, but they serve different purposes.A labiaplasty is a surgery that involves altering the appearance of the labia minora, which are the inner lips of the vulva. This procedure can be performed for cosmetic reasons or to correct asymmetry or discomfort caused by enlarged or protruding labia.

On the other hand, a vaginoplasty is a procedure that is performed to tighten the vaginal canal. This surgery can be done to correct vaginal laxity caused by childbirth or aging, or to enhance sexual pleasure for both partners.

While both surgeries involve the vaginal area, they are very different procedures with different goals. It’s important to discuss your specific needs and concerns with a qualified healthcare provider before undergoing any type of vaginal surgery.

The O-Shot, popularly known as the “Orgasm Shot” rejuvenates vaginal tissue using natural growth factors When receiving the O-Shot, Dr. Lowney injects that patients own PRP into the vaginal tissue. The P.R.P contains growth factors that trigger stem cells to regenerate collagen and increase blood vessels and nerve supply to the G-spot, anterior vagina, and the clitoris. The result is healthier, tighter, tissue and increased sensitivity. Additionally, the treatment area becomes stronger, plumper and better lubricated.

Pain from vaginoplasty and non-surgical vaginal rejuvenation procedures can vary from mild to severe depending on the individual and the type of surgery.

Vaginoplasty is a surgical procedure that involves the removal of excess tissue from the vaginal area to tighten and improve its appearance. This procedure is usually done under general anesthesia, so the patient will not feel any pain during the surgery. However, after the surgery, patients may experience some discomfort and pain, which is managed with pain medications.

Vaginal rejuvenation is a non-invasive procedure that uses laser or radiofrequency technology to tighten the vaginal area. This procedure is relatively painless and does not require any anesthesia. Patients may experience mild discomfort or a sensation of heat during the procedure, but it is generally not painful.

Overall, both vaginoplasty and non-surgical vaginoplasty may cause some discomfort and pain, but these symptoms are managed with medication or other pain management techniques. It is important to speak with a healthcare professional about the risks and benefits of these procedures to determine which one is the best option for you.

Sexual wellness is important to a happy, well-balanced life. In addition to physical pleasure, sex is a gift, which strengthens emotional bonds between partners, and adds excitement to life. Unfortunately, vaginal relaxation, or looseness can severely affect a woman’s sexual wellbeing.

One of the most common complaints cosmetic gynecologists hear from their patients experiencing vaginal relaxation is that “intercourse isn’t the same”. Women say they feel “loose” and have very little sensation. Often their partner has “difficulty staying inside” or they experience “embarrassing noises during intercourse” because of their vaginal openness.

With age comes change. And no part of the body is left untouched by the effects of time. This is especially true for women in regards to their feminine health and well-being. In addition to intrinsic causes, childbirth, weight change, and surgery can alter the vagina (birth canal) and labia (inner and outer lips) forever. Through vaginal and vulvar rejuvenation procedures offered at Advanced Body Sculpting of New England, Dr. Lowney, can tighten vaginal muscles, restoring a woman’s confidence with intimacy and lovemaking.

Your vaginoplasty cost will vary, depending on the individual parameters of your treatment plan. During your complimentary consultation, the cost of vaginoplasty will be discussed in detail, along with available financing options.

Getting the O-Shot is generally painless. The injections feel like a slight pinching or warming sensation. The area is numbed with a topical anesthetic prior to the injections to minimize any discomfort. Although every patient’s experience is different, most report little to no pain during or after the O-Shot.

On average, most women can expect results to last about one to three years. On average, women choose to repeat the procedure every 18 months to maintain results.

Vaginoplasty and non-surgical vaginal rejuvenation treatments return the vagina to a shape and size similar to that of a younger woman who has not had children. Although good sex requires more than a youthful vagina, our patients tell us sex is much better after the procedure.* With vaginal rejuvenation treatments, the vagina becomes stronger, plumper and better lubricated. Additionally, sensitivity is increased, making for a better sexual experience.

For a vaginoplasty, experiences may vary, but most patients return to work within a week and may engage in intercourse or activities that require heavy lifting or straining after 6 weeks following their surgery.*

For non-surgical vaginal rejuvenation, individual experiences may vary, however most patients report minimal discomfort in the days following the procedure. Required downtime is minimal. You may shower the same evening as the procedure, drive the following day, and return to work within 72 hours. Most patients can resume normal sexual activity within 4 weeks.*

Vaginoplasty results are immediate. For non-surgical rejuvenation using ThermiVa or Viveve, results are both immediate and progressive. As with any cosmetic procedure, individual experiences may vary, but many patients see substantial improvement immediately after their procedure, along with progressive improvement as the vagina continues to shrink and reshape over the course of 6-8 weeks.*

Vaginoplasty results can last a lifetime. However, the duration of vaginoplasty results depends on things such as age, the type of procedure, as well as future pregnancy and childbirth.

For non-surgical rejuvenation procedures such as ThermiVa or Viveve, results last for about nine to twelve months. After the one-year mark, touch-up appointments are recommended to maintain results for up to three years.
