Breakthrough Non-Invasive Laser Vaginal Tightening Procedure
Throughout the aging process our skin looses its vitality, wrinkles appear, and elasticity is reduced due to collagen fibers decreasing in number and strength. This is why so many woman around the world undergo cosmetic procedures and use innovative creams to ensure they look as young as possible.
The same process occurs in the vaginal tissue where collagen and elastin loose their strength as a result of childbirth, hormonal changes, gravity, and the aging process. Due to structural changes in the vagina and urethra area, the loss of collagen fibers firmness can lead to reduction in sexual fulfillment in addition to stress urinary incontinence at different severity levels.
Dr. Mark X. Lowney is the first gynecologist in Massachusetts to offer the FemiLift laser vaginal tightening procedure to alleviate these vaginal symptoms utilizing state-of-the-art lasers which are essentially painless and are associated with no downtime.

Vaginal rejuvenation surgery is an invasive surgical procedure requiring intravenous sedation and local anesthesia. It takes approximately 1 hour to perform and has 6 weeks of downtime. It is associated with some discomfort similar to episiotomy pain. It is usually performed when vaginal laxity (looseness) is excessive after delivery of multiple large babies. The FemiLift laser tightening procedure is non-invasive, painless, and has essentially no downtime. Sometimes the 2 procedures can be combined to get maximal effect. Dr. Mark X. Lowney, a board-certified ob/gyn and cosmetic surgeon will be able to determine which procedure is appropriate for you.
